Thankyou for evaluating The Joystick Control Centre.
What is it?
The Joystick Control Centre is software that allows you to program the
buttons on any joystick in Windows 95. It lets you assign keystrokes to
the buttons on your joystick and use these keystroke macros later in your
favourite games.
Features!
Using "modes", you can utilize virtual buttons. This means for example that if
your joystick has 4 buttons and you program 5 modes, you have 20 virtual buttons
to use and configure on your joystick. Modes are switched in real time by the press
of a button (you tell it which one).
Each joystick button can register up to 6 keystrokes. This means you could for
example select a weapon, load the weapon, aim and fire it all with one joystick
button press.
The game you are using does not have to be "joystick capable" to utilize the
benefits of The Joystick Control Centre.
Will work with any joystick that has been installed under Windows 95.
Buttons can be configured on the fly. If you want to make changes to your button
settings, pause your game, make your changes and continue. Changes take effect
immediately.
Create template files for each game you wish to program. Once you have created
your template, load it up and away you go.
Ideal for flight simulators, Shoot em up games, Role playing games and similar.
Includes comprehensive online help with examples for Microsoft Flight Simulator
for Windows 95. (because I am a flight sim junkie).
Simple to use Windows 95 interface.
If you can do it with the keyboard, you can do it with The Joystick Control Centre.
Requirements?
You need 3 things.
1. Microsoft Windows 95.
2. A joystick with buttons that has been successfully installed under Windows 95.
3. A Windows game to use your joystick with.
